What is NVMe?
Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) is a storage drive that allows read/write speeds to utilize the full power of their flash memory. Unlike SATA drives which their own hardware can limit, NVMe runs on a PCIe interface which allows for the drive to communicate directly with the PC.
Why NVMe?
NVMe drives allow for up to 3500MB/s read/write speed compared to the more traditional SATA III which maxes out at 600MB/s or the older SATA II at 300MB/s. This is going to lead to faster load times which is perfect for today's multi-tasking generation.
